Hi!! Welcome to my first blog post. Thank you so much for following along with #18DaysofWeddings; Yes 18 sort of turned into 19 and I missed Monday but my husband and I had a really busy weekend together. Picking your schedule can be both the pleasure and curse of owning your own business – but I’m definitely leaning more towards pleasure for this past weekend, it’s all about making memories right?!
We’re already at day 18! Or finally? That was way more work than I anticipated – but totally worth it! It was really fun for me to pick out my favorites from each wedding and see them all right next to each other as I scroll through my Instagram feed! It really makes it feel evident for me that I actually DO have a style! It’s a style that I’m tweaking and adjusting, but who isn’t? I am so excited to get some 2017 weddings in my planner!
Today is also my 26th birthday! Even more of a reason to make my final #18DaysofWeddings post/first blog post today! Because blog posts go perfectly with cake – or so I’m declaring. J
As I stated at the beginning of my journey, 19 days ago, I will be at 18 total weddings at the END of this year which means that #day18turned19 isn’t actually a wedding, but instead, an engagement. Quite possibly my most favorite engagement session yet; we tried new locations, new poses and because Matt and Emily are the cutest couple, so obviously in love, with a great fashion sense (wait until you see these outfit pairings) it all made for one great morning. Did I mention we started at 7:30 AM? A little after sunrise, that morning glow did not disappoint.
Matt proposed at Itasca State Park so we have a few fun shots of them both wearing Itasca merchandise – is that not cute or what?! Enjoy Matt & Emily’s engagement blog. I’d love to hear your comments and feel free to share – 2017 is sure to be full of adventure, I’d love to help tell the story of yours!
