As we come up on the New Year, I reflect back on 2018 like most typically do and I see how blessed I am; that I can say the joys far out-weigh the sorrows. I chose CREATE as my word for 2018 and create, I did. I created so many new friendships. I created a podcast with one of those friends. I created art. I created memories. I created beautiful photographs. I am continually creating the life and marriage and business I want. I also created two grant applications for two different endeavors and didn’t receive either of them because God has bigger plans brewing. I know I wouldn’t be able to create any of this without His help. So now it’s time to create my 2019 goals and choose my 2019 word and see how God will use these plans, or completely flip them upside down and use His own like we know he does.
I can’t express how much I love and appreciate all the people who have shared their stories with me in front of the camera, behind the microphone and across the table, over drinks of course. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of you and I can’t wait to see who I get to meet next.
And this guy: My rock that puts up with my self-induced crazy schedule, who calms my every worry, who pushes me to be my best self and knows the way to my heart is laughter. (I hate that he can even make me laugh when I’m mad.) His life would be so quiet without my loud, easily identifiable laugh. We celebrated 10 years together this October. <3 Four of those are married years and I can’t wait for the next 102.
Thank you and happy New Year! Enjoy my year in review through photos, both personal and professional!
