I can almost promise this will be the most and only political thing I will ever write about.
Our next Presidential Election is coming up in 2020. I already heard them talking on the radio about Joe Biden announcing his candidacy making him the 21st Democratic candidate registered. To be honest I rolled my eyes thinking, great, we’re already going to start hearing about this? But it got me thinking a little and figured I could use this to add my unheard two cents. Why so soon? Because the closer it gets and the more people that are talking about it, the less I’m going to want to hear about it, let alone talk about it.
My two cents is simple:
Vote for someone who cares.
Someone who cares about women.
Someone who cares about small business.
Someone who cares about family.
Someone who cares about education.
Someone who cares about health.
Someone who cares about our country.
Someone who cares about God.
I feel like you can’t get any more basic than that. It’s open, it’s broad, but it’s also not all inclusive. I’m not telling you who to vote for. I’m not telling you which direction to vote. I just want to urge you to do your own research about your options and put that all into consideration. Let’s not vote for the “lesser of two evils”, let’s vote for someone who cares.
Did you know, as of April 29th there are 700 candidates who have filed to run for President in 2020?! (source)
Did you know Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota is one of them?
Did you know President Donald Trump is running again?
Did you know you can register to vote here?
