Brandy and Justin couldn’t have ended up with a more beautiful day for their wedding in August!
Justin is my nephew so after they got engaged, in the woods, in full camo after bow hunting, they asked me if I’d rather hang out with the family and just party that day or if I’d want to photograph their wedding. I told them I’d be more than honored to photograph their special day but I also wouldn’t be sad if they didn’t choose me, either way I'd be there to celebrate. Fast forward through their planning they did end up asking me and as I said I would be, I was so honored and knew the photos would be magical!❤
Justin and Brandy are a fun, active couple who may (👈) or may not have picked the color of their new Harley Davidson, Destiny, to match their wedding colors! (Yes they, I mean, HE named their bike!) I was so excited when Brandy told me that she had a long veil. I couldn’t wait to play with some romantic images! As you look through their gallery, watch for some of the little touches they incorporated to make their day special and all about THEM, like the special embroidery on the backs of the fathers’ ties and the matching bridesmaids robes.
I can’t forget the funniest part! Brandy’s Maid of Honor getting us pulled over on the way to the church!🚔 You know I took pictures of that ;)! Don't worry, it was just a warning to slow down. 🤣
The ceremony and reception locations were just on opposite ends of the same block in Big Lake, Minnesota. They got married in the beautiful Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church. We took all of the portraits outdoors on the church grounds and at the nearby beach because you couldn’t have hand-picked better weather for a wedding day! After photographs we walked over to Carousell Works Historic Event Center for a fun evening of good food and dancing.
Congratulations Justin & Brandy! Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your wedding. I wish you a life full of happiness, hard work, working out and endless rides off into the sunset on your Harley! Love you guys!
