I would specialize in winter weddings if every one was as perfect as Lauren and Grant’s. The middle of November definitely heightens your chances of having a snowy wedding day or even a blizzard but these two adventurous love birds ended up with the most dazzling, freshly snow-covered, sunny Saturday; although it was also COLD! I was so excited to photograph the majority of their photos outside and even more excited when Lauren told me they had purchased these cozy, colorful shawls for all of the bridesmaids and herself. How perfectly do they match the guys’ shirts? LOVE!
I was so honored when Lauren asked me to photograph their wedding. Not only because I have known her since she was little, or that my sister is one of the bridesmaids but even more so because of the relationship we have built over the years. I got to photograph her senior photos in 2011, last year I got to photograph her sister’s wedding. How special is that, to have a family trust you so much to come back to you over the years?! Next on my bucket list is to take a road trip out to Colorado, where they live, and do some portraits of them in the mountains, a place where they are always out exploring together!
You can’t get any kinder than these two. A beautiful couple raised by great families. I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture your big day and I pray the best for you in all your years to come!
